Ade Edmondson & the Bad Shepherds

The Bad Shepherds play punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because they really like the noise - it works! Classic numbers by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers, The Jam, even Kraftwerk all get the celtic folk treatment. It's all presented with humour and much welly - energy with finesse, rather than just thrash, despite Adrian Edmondson's protestations that he is the best (and only) 'thrash' mandolin player in the world...

Featuring Adrian Edmondson, Maartin Allcock (Fairport Convention & Jethro Tull), Troy Donockley (renowned for his work with Iona, Maddy Prior and Midge Ure) and Andy Dinan.
