We are delighted to welcome the legendary British jazz trombonist and bandleader, CHRIS BARBER, back to Pendley after a gap of too many years. Chris celebrated his 60th year as a bandleader in 2009 and this concert also falls on the eve of his 80th birthday. Truly an icon of the European Jazz scene.
Over the years CHRIS BARBER has influenced many of today's leading Jazz and Blues musicians. especially contemporary artists such as Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton and Van Morrison.
THE BIG CHRIS BARBER BAND combine all these ingredients into an evening of exciting, and often moving, Jazz and Blues. Great entertainment for all.
