Triple Threat Theatre presents
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by George Furth. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Joseph Weinberger Ltd, on behalf of Music Theatre International
Robert is single, lives in New York and is 35 today. He also has commitment issues. His friends, mostly married couples, gather in his apartment to throw a surprise party for him. What follows, is a series of vignette's, examining the pros and cons of marriage, each featuring one of the couples and Robert. Throughout the show, Robert watches and learns from his friends. He realises there are ups and downs to relationships, and finally sees that although being with someone is not always a bed of roses, life is better if you have someone to share it with.
