Court Theatre Limited presents
An evening of murder mystery, with supper...
In August 1944, the Hopkins family think they only have the German V1 rockets to worry about. George is nervous, reliving some of the horrors of the Great War, while his wife Violet tries to keep the family together. Their granddaughter Mildred does her bit for the war effort, working in the munitions factory, and whilst grandson Jimmy's mysterious health problems keep him out of the army, he isn't troubled by the shortages. They invite Mildred's former teacher to lodge with them after she's bombed out and all take refuge in the cellar whilst the doodlebugs fly overhead. Little do they realise that danger is much closer to home and before long, one of them is dead. The police investigate and soon everyone is under suspicion. The audience can help work out who have motives, but are unlikely suspects, before making a final accusation as to who is the murderer.
Due to catering requirements tickets should be purchased in advance
