Rob Alderton
Rob’s whole life is Musical Theatre. He is involved in just about every aspect of it from the creative to the technical. His first paid job as Musical Director was at the tender age of fourteen! Since then he’s clocked up nearly 200 productions, which have taken him to the West End and beyond. With scholarship to music school aged 11 and a degree in Performing Arts/Music, there was never any doubt his career would be in music. Rob’s skill on the piano has lead to him performing with many stars of stage, television and music including Sir Cliff Richard, Freddie Starr, and in musicals like Les Misérables. In addition to piano, he also plays accordion, bass, drums and guitar.
As an ex member of the band Sailor (makers of hits like Girls Girls Girls and A Glass Of Champagne), Rob has performed all over Europe to crowds in the tens of thousands.
A well as Fast Food the musical he has also co written “The Amus-ical Tales of Robin Hood” and “Noah The Musical”with Ian Gower
Rob also owns and runs Crescendo, a theatre sound company dedicated to providing theatre companies with specialized theatre and concert sound systems, recording and sound design. |
